Raymond Taylor opened Excell Refrigeration in Lantana, FL in 1985 with a vision to provide the highest quality service and installation available to the industry. Excell Refrigeration in Florida still remains to this day an industry leader in the supermarket, specialty markets, and wholesale club refrigeration service and installation industry.

While seeing an opportunity for growth in the Southeastern states in 1996, Ray chose two key employees to partner with and open Excell Refrigeration of South Carolina Inc. just outside Columbia, SC. Michael Driscoll, Service Manager and Glenn Taylor, General Manager combined have over 50 years of air conditioning and supermarket refrigeration experience.

Excell Refrigeration of SC, Inc. with over 60 employees is now entering its 25th year of business as a licensed refrigeration and air conditioning contractor in SC, NC, GA and AL. Excell Refrigeration of SC has successfully completed well over 200 new supermarket installations and just as many remodels. We currently provide maintenance and service contracts to a growing list of customers and provide 24/7 emergency service as well.

While refrigeration service and installation was initially our reason for starting this business we soon realized our customers had even more needs. Over the past 5 years our technicians have become trained on various pieces of Bakery Equipment, Ovens, Mixers, Proofers and Meat Grinders.
